Henry's Apartment

Decent enough if you are clubbing. Positive: Large and spacious. Clean and well supplied Negative: Not owners fault . Wanted to state that but it was not mentioned anywhere nor was it catered for sound wise, but the main nightclub for dundee was directly across from our bedrooms. 4am the first night before it was enough remotely quiet enough to consider sleep . The second night was a Sunday so it closed a lot earlier.

The apartment is good in size and in good condition. So no issues with the unit as such as it was roomy, everything worked etc. Actually quite nice to be entirely fair. However and its an important however. Located on the other side of street immediately below the apartment at street level is a nite club!! We stayed there on a Sat and Sun evening. Sat night noise was very loud and went on till 3am (started around 9pm) which was when the loud base music eventually stopped. Then another hour before the crowds finally left. Even with ear plugs its still very loud until approx 4am To say we didnt get much sleep is an understatement. Sun night was marginally better but only because the music kicked in much later and the crowds lower as presumably would be expected. We somehow missed other reviews on this issue…so we own that. So again the unit is 5 stars for size and contents but the location is 1 star at best due to the noise issue. Maybe if u stayed there early in the week the noise might not be an issue but I def would not recommend Fri/Sat/Sun

Positive: Amazing apartmebt so handy to everything Negative: Its right above 2 nightclubs and the noise at 1 to 3am was honestly laughable. Earplugs from boots a must

Confortable y céntrico pero falta de mantenimiento Positive: La situación céntrica y el confort de las habitaciones. Negative: Le faltaba una silla en el comedor. La encontramos rota y avisamos al dueño. Necesitábamos 6 sillas. Nos respondió muy amablemente que solucionaría el problema pero lo cierto es que no volvimos a tener más noticias al respecto.

Had a great time meeting up with friends and the flat was in a great location. Positive: Location is right in the city centre very close to both bus and train stations so travel links are very easy. The flat was very well kitted out with a well appointed kitchen, dishwasher, and comfy beds. Negative: It's not an reflection on the property, which was excellent but there is a nightclub straight across the street that was quite noisy on Saturday night so advice would be to take earplugs if noise bothers you.
