The Stables - unique conversion with hot tub!

Just back from a weekend at the stables. Brilliant property for get togethers and celebrations and inside absolutely has the wow factor! Four en suite bedrooms are a real positive and the huge open plan living space is just amazing. The beds were really comfortable and the ensuite bathrooms are modern and very spacious - 2 with gorgeous baths and separate showers. We were blessed with good weather so we were able to enjoy the large outside space and the hot tub too which everyone enjoyed. It’s centrally located with the city centre on your doorstep but also got its own privacy. With a few simple upgrades this would be a five star property - however this is still an amazing property and we would return again in a heartbeat. Served its purpose. Positive: Good location Good rrooms Negative: Very tired. You can tell this was a property that had significant investment initially. That investment has long since ceased.

Positive: The property was amazing, well equipped and we would stay there again Negative: The outdoor areas need some TLC. The deckchairs were dirty and need replacing

Fantastic stay at ‘The Stables’ for a Hen Weekend 💖 Positive: We were a Hen party of 8 and loved our weekend at the Stables, such a lovely sociable space, comfy beds and great having the hot tub. It was just what we were looking for. Hosts very accommodating and responsive, allowing us an earlier check in to be there for our shopping delivery and get ready for the bride arriving. Stunning view from the balcony area. Everything was lovely and clean inside and lots of space with 4 good sized en-suite rooms. We would definitely return Negative: The only negative thing we would say was that the outside areas could be done with a freshen up, it’s such a lovely area with different levels.

Amazing property for group get togethers. Positive: The property is fantastic for a group get together. Everything that you need was there and the bedrooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Negative: The only aspect that slightly let the property down for us was the upkeep of the outdoor area. While we fully appreciate that external spaces can be more challenging to maintain, there were noticeable bird droppings which had been there for some time, , including on the steps to the hot tub, which we ended up cleaning ourselves. Additionally, the presence of weeds and general untidiness suggested the area may not have been maintained recently. That said, this did not detract from what was otherwise an amazing stay — we had a fantastic time, and the property itself was brilliant.
