Barometer Cottage

Stylish cottage with every possible comfort. Clean, cosy and very central. Positive: We loved the property. Stylish, clean, warm, comfortable. Felt very sad leaving it! Loved all the artwork and interior design, it was perfect. And the fizz! The fizz n crisps were perfect! Negative: The only thing I would have a wee niggle about is the double bed. The two singles clicked together could have done with an under cover to save one of us falling down the dip. 🥰

Positive: Superb location right across from the sea and only a couple of minutes walk to the town center. Next door to the Ship Inn for drinks and food. Walks along the sea side were superb. We had a concert in Dundee and only a 5 minute train ride into the city center. Would recommend this property. Negative: Could not work the coffee machine, but im sure it was just me and not the machine.

Just the perfect location and set up. We were a couple plus my brother and the cottage was great for this kind of trip visiting family that live in local. Tons of coffee shops and pubs nearby and wake up every morning right on a quiet waterfront street. Pure magic and 10/10. Super well maintained.

Barometer Cottage was a gem of a find. It was beautifully presented, very clean and homely full of trinkets and art and a well equipped kitchen. We had the most relaxing time. Broughty Ferry is filled with a great vibe, you can relax at the beach and on many of the seats along the promenade or enjoy a lively pint in the local pubs. We had dinner next door at the Ship Inn and the food was amazing, highly recommend. We were sad to leave Barometer Cottage but we will definitely be back. A 5 star accommodation in a 5 star town. Loved it
