Positive: If you like history go here, it's a unique way to learn whilst staying in a genuine Nissan hut. Negative: Nothing!

Step back in time to stay on a WWII POW camp - unforgettable experience Positive: Excellent refurbishment of these huts for self catering. Very comfortable accommodation with a very spacious bedroom at one end and a separate room with living, dining and kitchen area. Decent size throughout and had everything required for a weekend break. Was perfect for us staying with our child. The whole Cultybraggan site is fascinating and I enjoyed learning more about the history of the place. Loads to explore and wander around! Negative: It was mostly perfect in terms of the accommodation itself, the only thing that kind of let it down a bit for me was the lack of interaction from people onsite. Access to the hut is via a key box at the door so no one to welcome you on arrival and info was a bit sparse inside on what to do in the area. I personally found the woman in the onsite museum to be quite rude and unwelcoming on both days that I visited. This let down the experience a bit for me overall as I work in the museum/visitor attraction sector and felt it could be better (a smile and hello costs nothing).

A smart project with potential, but it needs a bit more love Positive: The huts are very nice inside, the place is very quiet and the bed was comfortable. Café 21 served a very tasty breakfast. In general this project is very clever just they need to pay more attention on the details. Negative: I didn’t realize it was more like a campsite, and I don’t have any camping experience. So I didn’t know that I needed to bring my own shower gel, shampoo, or slippers. Plus, Hygiene could be more attentive
