Clifftop Cottage - A Seaside Sanctuary

It was a nice quiet break Negative: You couldnt use the TV unless you has Netflix, Amazon and a host of other ones that you had to use your own subscription to use. No BBC ITV or any basic channels at all. Not the best when your husband is disabled but is happy to watch TV and let you go out to the beach, for walks and explore each day on your own. Also although not a major problem except the first night the oven didnt work at all. Reported it that evening. On Tuesday a text message from someone so I told him there was a locked cupboard and the fuse box was probably in there. He got back to me to tell me where the key was hidden so I got in and yes the fuse had tripped. Light and fan then came on in the over but still didnt heat at all even leaving it n for over an hour. Handy man arrived on Wednesday when we were out then reported back there was nothing wrong with the oven. I tried again but still the oven didnt heat. Long story short I left a note for the cleaner to try the oven. Same controls as my oven at home so I knew what I was doing. If the fuse for the oven was tripped then something wrong tripped it in the first place. Other than that a lovely cottage in a beautiful place. Dont expect a sea view from the cottage, there isnt one

Fab location and a cosy getaway Positive: Fab location, great wood burning stove, comfy and warm dwelling, comfortable bed Negative: There were not enough logs for our two evenings for the fire- the larger ones provided didn’t fit the stove - but a lovely spot

Positive: The location was excellent. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. Negative: The shower wasn't great.

Spotless cottage & quiet area with lovely scenery. Positive: Very clean, everything you need in the kitchen, wood left for the wire, washing machine and dishwasher with tablets, really good heaters! iron, clothes horse, hoover etc all there! Negative: Shower is an eco one so very light, still warm just not overly powerful, also not enough toilet roll or kitchen roll to last us the amount of time we were staying, had to go drive to the nearest town to buy some, otherwise no issues.
