Perfecte Schotse cottage Positive: Fijne ligging, lekker rustig. Top tuin ook Negative: 2 half botte snij messen. 1 scherpe erbij was fijn geweest. Dit is overigens enige minpunt, plaatst het ook als tip voor de eigenaar ☺️

Wouldn't stay here even if the smell was dealt as some privacy issues. Sadly left feeling unwell so we weren't t Positive: The very clever advertising pictures, the view from the lounge window up the hill, (ignoring the owner path to the same garden area literally just outside your window)and location. Negative: The smell of the property was horrendous causing us to leave and relocate with an hour of arrival with headaches, sore throats and nausea, even after opening all windows to try to air the property!!!!!!! The pictures were very cleverly taken and possible old!!! The bedrooms where very small and only one had a child sized wardrobe without doors plonked in. Bathroom down stairs had visable signed of a water leak on the ceiling and was showing signs of wear and tear. The kitchen was smaller than expected (again clever photo) the lounge with very dated furniture and a DVD player you couldn't use as no TV connection, the view up the hill was lovely but then you could have the main house walking right past your window. The play equipment I wouldn't use as very old even if I had young children and was watching them. The picture of the outdoor garden furniture shows it on the lawn but actually position on gravel outside the door, again the issue of privacy if you were enjoying and evening meal and with a dog there is no way he could of safely joined us outside unless kept on a lead for fear of wandering into their house even though he is a loyal loving boy and would possible wander if he saw other people. On walking back from the garden you look straight into the main house front room through their patio doors but the walled garden was a nice area as was the location. Overall the photos didn't reflect the actual cottage and would now be very cateful and read ALL reviews on any future bookings

Stay Positive: The location is lovely, quiet, and features a fantastic outdoor play area that the kids absolutely loved, giving the adults some well-deserved relaxation time! The accommodation is standalone but located right next to another property with a shared garden view, so keep in mind that privacy is a bit limited. Overall, a relaxing place for a family break! Negative: The pre-checkout policies felt excessive and were not disclosed before booking. We were expected to strip beds, run the dishwasher, and sort the trash before a strict 10:00 AM checkout. Managing these chores while getting young kids ready made our final morning incredibly rushed and stressful. Additionally, there was dog hair on the floors and couch, and the upstairs bedroom lights were burnt out. We have shared this feedback directly with the agency upon checkout
