FerryView Cottage - Breath Taking Vista

Positive: Gemütliches, kleines Ferienhaus mit tollem Blick über Broughty Ferry. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Broughty Ferry bietet tolle Möglichkeiten zum Bummeln und Kaffeetrinken, aber auch zum Wandern. Mit dem Zug und Bus kommt man zudem gut in Nachbarorte, wie Arbroath, Aberdeen oder in die Dundeer Innenstadt. Tolle Gegend! Die Ferienwohnung war zudem sehr sauber, die Betten gemütlich und auch die Ausstattung war gut. Negative: Man muss ohne Auto erstmal eine Weile den Berg hochlaufen. Dafür hat man aber auch einen tollen Ausblick!! :)

Could positioning for views and could have been a wonderful stay if the faults had been fixed before we came making this Positive: Great views and reasonably comfortable lounge, bedrooms and usable kitchen. Negative: Couldn’t open the sliding doors to the decking area, apparently the fault was raised a year ago and the sliding doors needed replacing, according to the handy man, the actual door lock couldn’t be opened. Also the controller in the shower didn’t work and the shower was extremely hot. Could be dangerous for small children. Again the handy man said it needed replacing. Surprised this hadn’t been reported before. The bathroom sink was also blocked but the handyman unblocked it.

Positive: Beautiful views, house was well laid out and well equipped. Negative: Unfortunately the only toilet had issues filling up after being flushed. There were 4 of us using it so it made it quite difficult. We reported the issue and after many conversations it still was not rectified. After stripping the beds on day two(as per requested) there were multiple stains on the mattress protector.

Positive: Es war alles super, tolle Aussicht.

A beautiful spot to stay with excellent facilities. Positive: Beautiful location and well appointed property. Has everything you could need. Negative: Perhaps some extra blankets would be useful. Especially during the colder months.
